  2. Well don't get me wrong I sure don't read at 4:30 am as I live the normal work life and need to sleep! I do still read your blog all the time though Red. Society sucks overall and sadly the type of guys who end up as doormen have two digit IQ's and that's as good as life will get for them. They need to belittle everyone around them to make themselves feel better, very typical with insecure people. Hopefully I will get back down to Seattle one of these days as you are too pretty for me but I would never turn you down!

  5. I read. I actually often for updates. I've been reading you're blog for awhile but haven't commented and a lot if people are like that so don't feel like no one reads because I guarantee I'm not the only one. Just wanted to let you know so hopefully you don't quit on us.
Btw I'm a 19 yr girl, not a creepy old man

    1. I'm not quitting for a while, and even when I am done, you can expect updates. I have drafts of things I can't really publish while I'm working...So when I do quit the content should get a little bit more interesting.

  6. Hi Red,

You know me...maybe too well, but for the sake of kicking this off, I'll introduce myself to your other readers.

I met Red a while back, I realized how amazing she is when I went in one night after having a few minutes of weakness holding a bottle of gin. I had given up drinking months before this and found myself holding that bottle, fighting against wanting it and not wanting to drink.

I went in, Red saw me and proceeded to help me through that episode. Without judgement and full of grace, I credit her with my continued sobriety.

I eventually showed Red my neurotic side and ruined what should have been a beautiful friendship.

    Thanks Red!

  7. I just found this a few days ago when I was trying to see if you were still at LD, as I didn't see you the last few times I was there. I figured you had finished schooling and moved on to a regular life.

My schedule has me reading this in the afternoon before work, and after midnight after work.

This blog is so different from the woman that I talk to at LD that I'm not sure it is the same person! Yet the data matches up, so that just makes you more complex, which is a good thing.

Currently, I'm just kinda randomly catching up/reading in reverse order (I wish Blogger had such an option as it would make things much easier! ). Hopefully I won't find myself in here mentioned in a bad way!

    Best regards.

  8. To answer your questions from two years ago -

    Yes, we've met, at LDs.
I reside in North Covington. In a little slice of rural heaven/hell. Nothing like chainsaws and chippers at 0800 when you didn't get to bed till 0400.

To answer the last part of your survey question - Why "No?"
It's not always "no" but I tend to go to LD to see my ATF. I don't deny that I have an attachment to my ATF, but it's something that prevents me from getting dances from other dancers, as I feel like I'm cheating on her. Silly, I know. If it were not for that, I would certainly be spending more with/on you.
Then the question perhaps evolves to the future.
LD has made two changes that make me not want to go there. The first was that Adam ( I don't know if he is an asshole personally, but he has a great personality on the microphone ) went to Ricks, and the new DJ won't SHUT THE FUCK UP! At tuscl.net you are advised to rate the DJ annoyance factor. I rated this DickJ an 11 out of 10.
The other thing is that they got rid of the "Ricks" booths. Now, I'm tall, so when dancers pull my hips forward, that means there is no support for my lower back. That means if I get more than a few dances, I go home to an aching back, and wake up to a sore and stiff back. So the "Ricks" booths really allowed me to buy more dances. I mentioned this to Mr Sato, but I don't know if he gave a rats ass, or not, or is able to recommend anything to the dills in corporate.

If you prefer, I can necropost to the relevant blog posts rather than this thread.

    1. Mr. Sato did/does care, it's just hard to make changes, obviously our company is about making money so they try to cram as many booths as possible in. Ah yes this dj has been getting a load of complaints lately it doesn't help that the more he drinks the louder he gets, and the more he fucking talks. It's seriously to the point I literally cannot here myself think. I have actually gotten up from sitting with a customer and apologized that I can no longer sit with him because I cannot stand listening to the dj and he makes me want to kill whatever is closest to me. That being said I've passed on this info to my new manager and I'll see what I can do for you.

    2. Thanks Red!

I fully grasp the iDea of more booths, and I do like that the curtains make it a bit more private (not because I want to do naughty things, but I'm not into the voyeuristic aspect of LD's main lapdance area) so even if the couches are the small ones, if they were just reclined more that would be super.

      Best regards!

  9. Hey Red,
I agree with TN. I have read your entire blog and I have recommended you to a lot of my friends whom I know all read your blog religiously, but have never left a comment. In fact, this is my first comment as well. I am a 32 yr old single mother and a nurse, but ten years ago I was a stripper at a very popular gentlemen's club in Philly. I have read a lot of stripper blogs, but yours is definitely my favorite. I know how important it is for you to finish your schooling and to leave stripping behind (as it was for me) yet part of me never wants your blog to end. You're great and I just wanted you to know how much I look forward to your new posts

    1. Thank you so much! That means so much to me. I would be totally interesting in talking to you sometime about how transitioning to "normal" life was sometime. Thanks for recommending me to your friends by the way.

  10. I remember trying three times to post a comment on this thread but I was on my phone and maybe it was being weird. Saw your post today and went back to this one and anyway.

I've been reading your blog for at least a year or two. I'm not sure how I found it but it was probably via someone else I follow on Twitter. I always love the backstage look at what could very easily be idealized (or demonized) work, and it's led me to a new understanding of what it means to be a feminist; strippers' issues are women's issues, turned up to 11. The things a dancer faces in her job and outside of her job are magnified versions of what all women deal with in one way or another.

And also, you just seem very passionate and personable and funny and sympathetic. I hope to get to meet you in Portland sometime. In a purely professional situation, of course.
